Can I be pulled over for a fast blinking turn signal?
Both my left and right turn signals blink fast, but when I put my hazards on, they work normal. I got out, and all four LED's work, but blink SUPER fast.
I have a 1999 Ford Ranger, and am not sure what's going on.
If you have fitted LED lamps in the indicators of an older vehicle they will be drawing much less current than the originals. This leads to the fast blinker operation, same as when one of the old lamps blew. Usual fix is to fit an extra load resistor to draw enough current to make the system appear normal.
It's likely that a cop behind you, seeing the fast blinker, would assume the front blinker was out, and pull you over to check things out. You may or may not get a ticket, but it's going to get annoying.
As long as they work, you will be ok.
You can be pulled over for ANY abnormality on your vehicle, it all depends on how bored the cops are.
- Where are the turn signal fuses? 1995 bounder RV? Our 1995 Ford fleetwood bounder's turn signals don't work and we have to go across country tomorrow. We can't find the fuse box that holds them! There are no RV mechanics in the area either! The Manual only says it's under the instrument panel… Please help!

- Headlight went out when I replaced turn signal bulb? I have a 2005 ford focus. My front left turn signal was going out (blinking rapidly) and the back one did not work at all. I replaced both of these bulbs, but when doing so, the front left headlight went out. The turn signal works though. I was just wondering why this happened. Should I just get a new headlight bulb, or is there another issues?
- Drove over hill too fast and car is making a thumping noise? I have a 2003 ford focus. Today I was driving and went to make a turn fast and went up a hill and it hit my car and made a loud noise. When pulled up my car started making a thumping noise I thought that it was the tire but when I popped the good and accelerated while in drive the engine was moving up it's still running fine but moving and making a thump when accelerating. What could be wrong with it please help.
