Any ideas on all season light truck tires?
I have a ford ranger and have decent tires now but am looking for something with a little better traction on rain and snow without having to add weight to bed for winter on snow so much.
Hi so be prepared for a lot more road noise on the highway as sometimes it can be deafening.
They are called winter tires and you should have a set, to compliment your 'other 3 season' tires which each set mounted on its own wheels.
Only way to go. There's no such thing as "all season".
Try Uniroyal Tiger Paws for light trucks and SUV's.
- Can 225/70R16 tires fit on rims that have 225/70r14 tires on them? I have 225/70r14 tires on my Ford ranger. I just got some 225/70r16 tires of the same brand, Cooper, given to me. Will they fit on the 225/70r14 rims or do I need to get rims to fit the 225/70r16.
- Will a set of 235/60-R17 tires fit a vehicle with 225/50-R17 tires currently? If they do I'm assuming there would be a MPH difference on the speedometer. Update: The 60 series set is from a 2014 Ford Focus and are stud-less winter tires. They are to go on a 2012 Ford Fusion.
- Tell me if the continental 215/50 R17 91H tires are all season or summer? I just got a 2015 Ford Focus and I think that it might have came with summer tired but I'm not sure.
- Something wrong with my truck. Any ideas? My truck lately has been heating up really quick. And as i'm driving i hear what sounds like water or some other liquid being dripped on my motor and it steams up and smells funky. And now when i throw it into reverse i hear a rattle sound. Don't know what's leaking or rattling. I have a 1994 ford f150 straight six motor 4x4. Any ideas on what's going on? Easy fix? Expensive?
