Am looking to buy my first pickup what's better Ford Ranger or F150?
I'm looking to buy my first pickup and i'm choosing between a 2000 Ranger or a 2000 F150 both with less then 130,000 miles. So i have test drove the F150 and i really like the truck but i haven't test drove a Ranger just yet so i just want to know which is a better truck. (Which would you choose)

As someone who owns a Ranger I'd get the F150. It's a real truck. The Ranger isn't.
Yea i really felt that when i drove the F-150 so thank you i will really consider the F150
Theoretically, it should be the F150. However, there's a good to consider the Ranger. It will cost less to own and operate. Beyond that, if the trucks are the same, feature for feature, you should simply pick the one that suits you the best. Some people need to haul very heavy loads or tow a big trailer, other people need to haul smaller, lighter items and don't tow much, and find ease in parking and lower fuel costs to be desirable. Its really up to the person.
Trucks are the most over-sold vehicle in the US. 90% of personal truck buyers simply don't need as big or powerful a truck as they own 99% of the time.
We have a 2003 ranger4x4 with the 4. 0 6 cyl. Tight as a Tacoma. You should test drive the ranger too.
- Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, superior Ford Ranger? I owned a 2010 Toyota Camry and it broke down in 2011 upon reaching 0.6k miles. I treated it like a baby and it failed and disappointed me. My friend also owned a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and it failed to start in 2009 upon reaching 8k miles. And the mechanic said it was impossible to fix. However, my uncle has a 1965 Ford Falcon with over 750k miles on its clock and it still runs like new and he never even changed its oil since he bought it.
- Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, Chevrolet Colorado? Or even better and superior, Ford Ranger. My cousin is going to buy a pick-up truck next month and it would be a Toyota Hilux. How do I convince him that the Hilux is not reliable?
- I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street.
