Being sued for $640k due to accident?

I was involved in a rear end accident in April 2013. The car in front of the one I hit stopped suddenly causing the truck in front of me to stop and I hit the truck (a huge ford) I was at fault since I hit him. I was going around 25mph He came out of the car asked if I was okay. I was with my 4 year old son and we were both fine. The driver was fine waiting with me til my grandparents picked me up. His bumper was dented that was about it. My car was worse but ended up bring fixed. He drove off fine. Now yesterday I receive a lawsuit from him for $640! Which includes $100k from his wife due to loss of affection from the accident?! This seems to be an obscene amount for the type of accident. He's claiming everything you can claim In an accident. I did some research online and found he sued another girl pretty much for the same thing stemming from an accident in 2012! He filed it 2 weeks before our accident! I have no assets am a divorced mom of 1 child please tell me he has no chance of recovering this crazy amount. My liability is set at $50,000 I believe no where near $640 oh and about a month ago my ins agent said he kept rejecting there offers. Also I looked up his lawyer and she takes cases for free and only gets paid if he wins anything. I'm super stressed and can't sleep.

Is a diesel Ford Excursion worth it?

I want a 2003 Ford Excursion Limited 4X4 as my first car. I like them because they're rare. I love the vast amount of cargo space when the seats are folded down. What's the city mpg (big city/small town)? I don't think I'll be towing. I can drive almost anything, so size won't bother me. Is it worth it? I would be driving it for the last 2 years of high school and for 4 years of college. I would stay on campus, so I wouldn't drive very much. Is it worth it? How much would it cost to fill? What's the gasoline fuel economy in the city?

What's the best car for a new teen driver?

I'm going to be getting my first car pretty soon and I was wondering what kind of car would be best for a 16 year old girl! I'm not too picky on the model and I just wanted to know what would be best, most affordable choice for me right now.

I need a little advice in buying a new car?

I have a great steady job and I can afford to buy a car from the dealership. It is the first time I ever go to a dealership for a car. I'm just wondering if there's any good reliable brands you can recommend to look out for? How is Ford, in your opinion? Also, what are the next steps one takes after buying a new car? Tags, plates, and insurance right?

Oil leak ford mondeo mk3?

I have a ford mondeo mk3, over the last few weeks I have had to keep on filling it up with oil. I have to add about a ltr every 100 miles. I can't see a leak and no oil patches and I have no smoke coming out the back. I'm also using alot of coolant i'm guessing cause when the oils low it gets hotter.

Any ideas

Do auto model years run for less than a year (12 months) sometimes?

I knew the 1997 Ford Windstar ran from October 1996 to January 1997 due to the updated 1998 model in January 1997.

I also knew that the 2014 Suburban/Yukon XL as well as the 2014 Tahoe/Yukon ran from June 2013 to February 2014 due to an updated 2015 model in February 2014.

Why do model years sometimes run for less than a year?
