Chevy, Ford, or Dodge truck?
Say you are a worker who frequently has to haul a trailer full of supplies, so you need the strongest, most powerful truck. Which do you look to buy, a Chevy, Ford, or Dodge truck?

I know some places can only check year 96 and above.
It's a 2.3 HSC. Can i drop the trans separately, or do i need to pull engine and trans together? Never done a tempo before,
Reverse is gone in it, so assuming i need to change whole trans unless someone has another suggestion?
I recently brought my 1992 ford astrovan to a stop. When I applied the brakes and shifted the tranny into park before I could turn the ignition off with the key the motor died and I lost all electrical power to anything. Nothing electrical worked. I lifted the hood and began a visual inspection. First thought was maybe a loose battery terminal. I noticed the positive terminal was extremely corroded, however both terminals were very secure. As I continued my visual inspection I witness a spark and a "sizzle" sound right on top of the positive battery post. I stepped back and just watched a second and it happened again., an arc between the positive post and the terminal. I thought best at this time to unhook the battery from the circuit. I ran into the conveinant store to borrow a wrench for I was without, and when I returned my girlfriend informed me that it arced a couple more times in my absence. I removed the terminals and cleaned all the corrosion the best I could and attempted to put the battery back in line and the second I connected the positive cable the arcing began again. Still no power to anything.
It's casting number is E5AE.
It's got the old firing order (1.5.4.2.6.3.7.8)
It's got the CFI carb fuel injection thing. Well, did. I put an Edelbrock intake on it and a 1405 600 CFM carb.
While I had the intake off, I found a spider attachment, lifter stabilizers, and rollers on the lifters. I was happy to find it was a roller motor.
But what the hell is it out of?!
The guy I got it from thought it was from a Lincoln. What do you guys think?
It looks like from what I was reading that type F is what will work but then I ran across info that states its only used in c6's from the 70's. Am I ok using type F? Also this vehicle is new to me is there anyway to tell what fluid type is in it now?
Me and my stepdad are in a despute cause I just got a 76 Torino (ford)
And the left hi beam is busted and he says I can get a ticket.
But fact is I would rarely use the Hibeams
Both the low beams work fine
I'm looking for answers from people who know Indiana traffic laws
A officer would be good.
Why are Chevy and Ford fans really so obsessive about their so called "American Brands" GM has taken so many billions if bailouts I can't even count. Furthermore, 87 percent of the parts of a Chevy are made outside our shores. So, why cling to the remembrance of yesteryear, when Henry Ford made every part of a Model T Ford at the Rouge River Plant. Those days are long gone, all you by now is a nameplate that was made in China.
Give me that Toyota that drives for half a million miles please.
The car is a 1994 Ford Probe and it was originally in my moms name and she had it transferred to me. The registration was out of date and the car was due for a smog but now I can't seem to get it to pass smog for a bunch of expensive reasons. I don't really need a car right now so I want to retire it to the government for $1500 but because the registration is past due, I can't get my pink slip. Can I claim it as non oporational, pay the registration, and get the slip through Plan Non Op only to later rebate it through the early vehicle retirement program?
The 850 HP version not the 662 horsepower version
