So my parents are letting me have their Ford-150 to drive to school, but they won't let me drive it until apparently the 'policy' on the insurance is not in their company name any more and so it goes onto their own personal policy because I'm not an employee for them. My question is how long does it take to change the police and how much will it cost to remove a car and add it onto the personal policy.

I have changed the battery in the key fob of the above vehicle but the remote lock and unlock does not work. The drivers side door can still be opened manually. Any suggestions would be most welcome
40's - 50's Trucks… Ford or Chevy?
Added (1). Ok, so I've reached a point in life where I want to restore a car. A truck to be exact. I have finally narrowed down what I'm looking for, and thats a 40's or 50's short bed pickup. Really like the patina / rat look, so not looking to do a full restoration. I'm mechanicly inclined, so thats not my worry, I just want to know which is easier to work on, modify, and access parts.
There's an '85 dodge ram prospector 2wd for sale an the owner says it got a 360 in it but to be this looks like a 318… I'm a ford guy. I know a lot about big block FE's but not dodges. In the picture it looks like a small block but I'm not sure.

I'm Alexis. I'm a 17 year old girl. Before I saw anything, I grow up with my dad and he taught me about cars at a young age. I've never been girly and have always loved cars (older car)… So I saved up $7,000 and about a week ago I bought me my very first car! I got a 1972 Ford Thunderbird (black exterior and red leather interior.) I love it but yesterday a guy said a 17 year old girl dose not need a car like that, that's its only a mans car and its ugly and I need something like a smart car or a mini (smart cars and minis are so ugly!). I told him I worked hard to get money to buy the car and that I love it, then he just gave me a dirt look and walked away. So I just want your opinion on my car!

My husband and I are in the military, and we're retiring very soon. We've been accepted into a PA program that is approximately 1 hour from where we're going to be living.
We currently own several vehicles that we're planning to trade in. The PA program that we will be sending us to various locations for clinical experience. So we need a car that is really good on gas, has a great manufacturers warranty, and is NOT a hybrid. Unfortunately we can't afford a hybrid. We're open to any suggestions, websites or personal opinions.
Do you have to have the pto engauged to raise or lower the bush hog when attached to ford 8n?
