How much would it cost to refurbish the interior of a car and will it be easy?

My uncle and I are trying to refurbish some 50's Ford pick up truck that he got from his father and it's honestly a wreck. The engine has a hard time starting and when we do get it we have to wait for it to heat up, the radio doesn't work, the lock on the passenger side has to be unlocked from the inside, and the interior is just messed up. It's all ripped and stained. Anyways we know how to fix the engine and a the technical stuff but we have no clue as to how we're going to redo the interior. So I have a few questions:

How much is going to cost?

Can we the two of us just do it or are we going to have to take it to a shop?

Subaru Liberty or a Mondeo Wagon? What is the importance of previous km's when purchasing second-hand?

I'm in the market for a second-hand car. I have narrowed my shortlist to a Subaru Liberty or Ford Mondeo Wagon, about 3-4 years old. They can fall in the same price range, however the Subaru will have significantly more km's on the odometer. Given the Subaru's reputation for longevity, however, is this important? Is it better to get a Subaru with 150000 on the clock, or a Ford Mondeo with around 60000km?

Radiator fan wired to run all the time, how is this bad and how can i fix it? 1993 ford tempo?

Added (1). BTW, I purchased this vehicle recently, knowing it had a leaky radiator, finally replaced the radiator today and the guy said that the fan was a different story and would need an electrician.

fyi, where the key for the ignition goes, is broken so it has some good ol' mexican workmanship put in to it which lets me turn the car on with a screwdriver and a flip switch.

the radiator mechanic said he would need to replace the steering wheel column, where the ignition goes to get the fan to

Ram, Chevy, Ford or Toyota 1/2 ton?

I'm looking to get a 1/2 ton truck. I like all the trucks which makes it hard to pick. Right now I have the Ram on top of my list. I would haul and go off road with. Also would use it as a family truck. I'm just looking for the truck that is best overall with power, durability, comfort and convenience. Your input is very appreciated.
