How long can you drive on a bent tail pipe?

I was involved in an accident on Sunday where someone tail ended me. I'm waiting for her insurance to get stuff together to get the vehicle fixed. Not too much damage was involved since I drive a large SUV and her a small Ford sedan but she did bend my tail pipe quite a bit. It was completly bent but my dad and husband got it to a 60 degree angle. They said it would be ok for short term not long term. I'm not versed in cars but my mother wants me to come up north and visit her for the weekend she lives about 3 1/2 hrs north. Will my vehicle be ok for the trip or should I wait for the insurance company to arrange for repairs?

Chevy Nova SS hatchback Sale?

How much would a 1973 chevy nova ss hatchback sell for? I have a Nova that has a 350 V8 engine from a ford pickup truck, along with the original engine. The car needs new paint, and has been sitting for around 20 years. The body is solid, and it ran perfectly when parked. It has a very small amount of rust where the rear bumper goes, but then the bumper is put back on the rust is hidden completely. I'm not looking to get rid of it right now or even sell it for a lot of money. I just want ballpark estimates of what the car could possibly sell for.

1970 ford f100 headlight HID conversion?

My 1970 f100s lights aren't all that bright anymore, so i was wanting to put 10k hid lights on it. But i was wondering if that's a good idea or if i even can because of the age of the truck. I can tell me how or what kit and your input.

Why do BMW, Audi, and Mercedes Benz cars have so many problems?

My friend owned at least 2 models of each one of these brands. His Mercedes Benz were especially problematic for him. The tires on the Mercedes Benz would get loose every month or so, and the repair prices were ridiculous. As you know, tire rotation and wheel alignments are very expensive.

I have a Ford and I'm very satisfied with it. Why are BMW, Audi, and Mercedes Benz so expensive for no reason? They are unreliable, uncomfortable and rough to drive, gas-guzzlers, and they have very noisy interiors.

What justifies the price tags of Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Audi?
