I just recently bought a 1954 Ford Customline and none if the interior electricals work (radio, dome light, lighter, etc) I was thinking if I replaced all the fuses it would all start working again but I can't seem to find the fuse box? Can anyone help me?

I have a 97 ford thunderbird Lx with the 4.6 modular v8 engine. I want to make it a bit faster for fairly cheap. I was thinking about getting a tune and another thing or two. Was thinking maybe and intake or exhaust system. Maybe a cat back exhaust or maybe a high flow cat converter? Any ideas on what would be better or Give me the most bang for my buck? Also if anyone could include links for any of the parts it would be so benificial!
So my options are a 1992 mercedes benz 300e for $600 or a 1999 ford crown victoria $500. They are both in similar condition although the mercedes has 190,000 miles and the crown vic has 250,000. They would both cost the same for me to insure

I built this alternator in 1985 and adapted it to my 1950 Ford tractor when I converted the tractor from 6 to 12 volts. It just failed recently. Originally, 29 years ago, I seem to recall having a problem with the rotation as far as charging is concerned. Whatever problem I had, if any, was fixed b/c it has been charging since then. Looking at the drive pulley, it rotates clockwise. Is this an issue I will have to deal with? Or will it charge in both directions?
