What's the smallest truck made by ford?

I'm looking for a certain type of truck. I want a ford. But an older one. Like 70s through about 90s. I'm looking for a older, small and compacted pickup truck. So anyone know the smallest pickup truck ford has made?

Having issues on troubleshooting my wife's 2000 Ford Contour SE V6 2.5 DOHC?

After driving for about 3-4 miles it starts to jerk and loose power. Almost as if someone is hitting you from the back. It's not throwing any codes or making the check engine light come on so that tells me it can't be major. I hope. I have changed the fuel filter, added Techron concentrated fuel treatment, changed the (CPS) camshaft position sensor, changed the oil and filter. I also replaced the air filter and cleaned the MAP sensor. What else can it be? Someone please help.

How is fording a river in a manual 4x4 different to an automatic 4x4?

I had forded a river with a LR Defender before and usually stuck it in Low 2nd gear and push through the river at 2-3k rpm. Luckily I never got stuck in the middle but I remember reading somewhere that it is easier to ford rivers with an automatic gearbox due to the lack of clutch housing?

Since automatic gearbox won't really stall in the middle of the river, would it be okay to shift it in reverse if stuck?

How to know if my car still have the interceptor?

I have a 99 crown Vic ford police interceptor. I know they strip the car of all the cool police car do they do that to the interceptor? I mean I kinda don't know what the interceptor do except for make the car accelerate faster Iguess. Can someone also explains what it do?

What kind of car would you recommend as a first car?

I'm 17 and I'm getting my license soon. I'm going to need a car to go to work. My job is about 2-3 miles away from my house. My school is less than 1/4 mile from the house. My mom doesn't want me to walk or ride my bike because of traffic. My mom said I can take her car any time I want but, it's not my car and I don't want to use it all the time. My grandfather said I can take his truck any time I want it but again, it isn't mine and I don't want to be driving it all the time. I like full size sedans. I love the Chrysler 300C because some are AWD and sit at a good height. I really like Ford and Chrysler. I want something comfortable and with nice features. I'm going to college next year so, I'd like it to last all through college and then some (I plan on becoming a doctor). I have to pay for it myself so I'll probably spend anywhere from $1,000-$3,500. I want something I can get for a good deal and is in good condition with low mileage. Here's some cars I like.

-2005 Chrysler 300 AWD
-2005-07 Ford Five Hundred Limited AWD
-2005 Mercury Mariner
-1998-06 Ford Crown Victoria LX

What would be a good first car? Any other recommendations?

Added (1). Full size sedans only. No compacts.

Added (2). I'm NOT looking for any kind of sports/luxury car. The only luxury car I want is a Lincoln.

Would you prefer BMW or a Japanese car?

My dad drives Toyota Corolla, and I'm sick of them because I'm almost 18, and he has been driving them since I was about 6 years old. I have told my dad to give up Toyota for now, and try something different, lets say a Honda, or any other car. Ford even, As long as he stops with Toyota for a little while.

My cousin is a mechanic, and I asked him from his point of view, what car he recommends or views as a good car. I expected him to say Honda or a Toyota. He says BMW. This took me by shock, but then again, he is a mechanic, and has been for several years now, driving different cars. He, himself drives a BMW, my other cousins do as well. But some drive Toyota Corollas

But which would you prefer? BMW or Japanese cars? I hear that BMW is better, and Japanese cars are more reliable, but I want to have different perspectives. Those who have experience with these cars, those who wish to have one of these cars. Just want different perspectives.

Added (1). BTW, just to clarify, I don't really care about cars. But I get tired and bored of having the same car for almost my entire existence on this planet lol.
I used to go with my cousin to his mechanic shop in his BMWs, just because I was interested in becoming a car mechanic, so I wanted to learn about it. He drove the same BMW for almost a whole 6 months of me going, I got tired of his BMW lol. I then developed an interest in a Kia Sorento that came into the shop after the BMW.
