1997 Ford Wind-star overheating?

I got this Ford Windstar which seems to overheat. It has Anti-freeze and the fans seem to be working (one kicks in after it reaches a certain temp.) what else could it be causing it to overheat? And how would i check and/or fix this?

1962 Ford Fairlane Shift Thread Pitch?

I'm building a shift knob for a 1962 Ford Fairlane 500 and can't find the thread pitch. Does anyone know a website with a solid year by year database? Or does anone happen to know the thread pitch? It is a column shifter not the 4 in the floor.

Car doesn't have the fan wired up?

My '64 Ford Fairlane obviuously has a fan in the engine. However, the guy we bough it from built a whole new engine so the fan is run by -manually- connecting the fan wires to the car battery. Does anybody know how/what I need to do? Thanks.
