Is a ford excursion worth it?

I'm looking to buy a 2000 to 2005 Ford excursion diesel. Is it worth it getting it? What's the MPG I can expect from it?

Does the 2016 RAM HD 4x2 have solid front axle?

I know the RAM HD's have a solid front axle if its a 4x4 but what if it's just a 2 wheel drive truck? I've heard that all RAM HD's have a solid front axle regardless of if it's a 4x4 or 4x2, unlike the Ford SuperDuty which only has a solid axle if its a 4x4.

My '99 Ford Contour won't pass smog?

My '99 Ford Contour won't pass smog?!

Added (1). Help! My '99 Ford Contour check engine light came on right when i need to get the car smogged. I took it to a smog check station and was told i was going to fail because of code: P1131 so he reseted it and removed the CE light and told me to do a few drive cycles a few times. I did the drive cycles 2x and went back, still nothing. Took it to another smog place and passed emissions but still failed and told me to drive for at least 300mi. I'm starting to feel like my car isn't going to pass.

79 ford c6 tranny problem (auto)?

I replaced the tranny on my truck with another c6 and I got the transmission put up in the truck and got everything bolted down. But when it's time to crank over the truck, while it's cranking you can hear this noise that sounds like either the flywheel or the dust guard. But when the truck finally fires up the noise is louder and scary… And my motor shakes from hell but the tranny doesn't… What could be the problem? Is the tranny jammed? Or is something not right? What am I missing?

Car leaking oil, not sure if its from oil filter or transmission?

So I have a 1998 Ford windstar that broke down because the transmission just basically gave up on it. Anyway, before it broke down we gave it an oil change and it wasn't leaking any oil. After the transmission gave up, a couple months afterwards, it starts to leak oil. Could this be from the transmission or the oil filter? By the way, I know absolutely nothing about cars.

In a tricky situation. Looking to lease a car but poor job history. Any tips?

I'm looking to lease a new car… I just started a new job a few months ago so I have poor employment history. I also only make $12 an hour but work full time. I have good credit though. I'm around 750 for all three credit bureaus. And I currently don't have any other bills to pay, I have all my credit cards paid off and I don't have any rent or other bills except insurance. I'm apart of the A/z plan at ford and have about 1500 saved up for a down payment. Looking to have a car payment under 250.

The only people I have to cosign are my parents. They have been at their jobs for 25+ years and make 50k each a year. The only downfall to them is their credit is in the low 500s.

Do I have any chance of getting approved? Do they take the lowest credit score and is my interest going to be super high? Or would I be better to just go without a cosigner.

Should I buy a Ford GT if I have the money?

A 2005 Ford GT red with white racing stripes has always been my ultimate dream car. After I graduate college, and get my career where I'd make an average of $75,000 a year. I plan on saving up to buy one, which would take at least 5 years. Would a Ford GTs insurance make a Corvettes insurance look cheap in comparison, even after driving a Corvette for 8 years with no accidents.
