I have a 302 ford small block with a c6 automatic tranny hooked to it. I'm having problems getting it to start. But before I had problems with it start I replaced the starter on it. And after I replaced the starter and when to crank the engine over nothing… It cranks but don't even want to run.I'll pour alittle gas in the carb to get it goin but still nothing. It gets fuel and it's getting spark. But I noticed in the dark on the coil you can it arcing when crankin over and you can see it arcin on the 1#plug wire, so I put new plug wires on it and still nothing doesn't even act like it wants to start.I'm just so lost and don't understand? Did the starter I put on have less teeth and is not turning the engine over fast enough? I don't know I'm just lost can some one please help?
As an engineering student, I'm learning how to use and become certified in SolidWorks. While SolidWorks is great and very useful, I don't imagine it is powerful enough for companies like Boeing or Ford or BMW to find useful. So, what kind of CAD/CAM software do companies like this use? Do they also use different kinds of software to visualize and simulate their designs?
I'm planing to replace the cylinder head in my project car, i'm not really good with engines, but i know something can anyone please tell me step by step instructions on how to do that? And how to be safe with that? Thanks

A couple of months ago, my car s battery terminals got replaced due to them being pretty old and not working properly. A few months later, my car battery died (it was less than two years old) but I assumed it was because of he faulty terminals it dealt with for a while. At the same time, my car s battery light started flashing. I replaced the battery less than a month ago.
However, the battery light is still flashing. Just the other day, my car started stalling in the middle of the freeway. It felt like it was about to die. I parked somewhere and left the engine idle for a couple of minutes and revved the engine lightly to charge the alternator (I assumed that was the issue at that point?). I noticed there was smoke coming out of the engine, not a lot. White smoke. I turned the car off and let it rest for a few hours. When I turned it back on, it was fine but the light kept flashing.
What could be wrong with my car? I want to take it to a mechanic but I d rather take it to someone who can work on the problem specifically. My car is a Ford.
It was pouring down rain the last few days and I noticed what appears to be clear water (perhaps rain water) leaking from underneath the passenger side dash board. I used a few towels to mop up the water on the floor. Is there a fix that I, a non mechanic (me) can fix this. I just had to spend $500 on a brake job.
