How to convince my parents to get me the truck that I want?

It has been my dream since literally first communion to get an old ford truck. My parents are worrided that the truck would break down and they will have to spend a lot of money on it. Of course all cars have problems and having to spend a little mone is invetiable. Another conern is that the truck is too long and I would never be able to drive it in the city. My porposal for that is to start driving my dads truck to get used to it. Finally they re willing to spend 10 thousland but the truck I want is 20 thousand. I can tell them I would organzie around the house and in the yard but I don't think i would be able to make another 10 thousand in the summer. Do you have any advice?

America is great because we've had some outstanding people.

America has had Lincoln, Jefferson, the Wright Brothers, Carnegie, Ford, Bill Gates, Sam Walton, and many other outstanding people.

Me, I don't think I've made it worse. I have no criminal record, I vote, I pay taxes, and I have a college degree. I have not done anything outstanding.
