I have a 2001 Ford wind star won't start?
I changed the spark plugs and the cables ant put everything on correctly but the van won't start it doesn't even crank I only hear some clicking noises and that s it, it does not crank and it's not the battery the a/c and light and radio works great it just does not start please help me
It is entirely possible for the battery to have enough juice to turn the lights and radio on and not crank the engine. Cranking an engine takes a tremendous amount of power. The clicking noises you hear are evidence the battery isn't strong enough. Change it.
- What would vintage cars look like tested in a wind tunnel? Vintage cars as in: those early 1920's-1940's boxy-shaped cars like the Ford V8 Flathead engines, and also the cars of the 1950's when aerodynamics and curved designs first came out. My question is asking about how the fog in a wind tunnel would appear, how much drag there's, or if earliest metal-roofed cars just scattered the wind (back when the tires had spokes that was assembled kind of like on bicycle wheels. ).
- 2001 ford Taurus won't start when its cold out? Hi, I have a car that I'm having trouble with. For awhile I could get it started in the cold weather just by hooking up a charger and it would start right away. The battery is new and at full. We think its a fuel problem, however the heater in this car doesn't work either. Any suggestions, where do I start with my trouble shooting? when the weather is warm, the car starts every time. I'm sorry, yes it does turn over.
- Ford Fiesta MK5 Wind Deflector (5Dr)? Another problem with our Fiesta. My partner was driving down the A14 last week and during the trip we heard a bang sound, we had lost the drivers side wind deflector, it just snapped off. I have uploaded a pic of the door, we just need to know how to remove the old clips and how to replace everything, as we have never had problems with trim panals.
- Ford 2001 F-150 XLT won't start with new battery? A few days ago I learned my battery was bad so I bought a new one. I installed it and suddenly my truck won't start. I had been able to jump it with the old battery but now it won't even do that. It will crank but will not start. I have checked the inertia switch which was pressed down. I don't have the equipment to check the fuel pump or the pressure in the line. Is there anything else I can check on before I have it towed and pay a bunch of money to a mechanic to look at it?
