Oil pan replacement on 2003 ford windstar?

What do i take of

First take the steering wheel off, then the rear brakes. Drain coolant and replace with coffee. Take your wrench and put it against the positive and negative terminals on the battery and hold for 10 seconds. Then remove the gas tank with an oxy-acetalyne torch. Disassemble the moon roof assembly if equipped. You should have access to the oil pan now.

Your good cloths

Unfortunately, whatever's in the way of taking the pan off. Get some ramps, drive it up, crawl under and have a look.

You are probably going to have to lift the engine some to get clearance. My son just pulled the oil pan off of one of his Cummins. We had to remove the motor mounts (he wanted to replace them anyhow), and pick up on the engine. We removed the transmission since the one was slipping on it. Without removing the tranny, we probably would have removed the engine or dropped the front suspension. On my Camaro, I had to pull the radiator hoses, tranny cooler lines and raise the front of the engine about 2".

Your going to have to unbolt the motor mount pick one and jack engine up an inch or two Unbolt the oil pan and carefully slide it out

hope it helps
