Nissan Altima to another dealership to get a basic service?
Can i take my Nissan Altima to another dealership to get a basic service(oil change)i prefer the ford dealership i have been going to for my other car.
You CAN if the Ford dealership is willing to work on a Nissan. You can take it wherever the hell you want. Some Ford dealer service departments will only work on Ford products while others will work on any make/model. You have to ask them. Since you generally have to call to set up an appointment, why didn't you just do that?
- Why is the Fuel Tank underneath the back seat inside the cabin on the Nissan Altima? Shouldn't the gas tank be located underneath on the outside of the car? Why does Nissan put it inside? Isn't that dangerous? It's like Ford Pinto all over again.
- When I bring my car to get an oil hange at a ford dealership, do I just pull right into the service garage? I've never gotten one I'm a new driver. I was wondering if I'm supposed to pull into the garage (the desk and stuff is in the garage) or park, tell them I need an oil change, and wait for them to tell me to pull my car up.
- Which car is the overall to keep for a couple of yrs? 1999 Nissan maxima, 1999 Altima, 2006 ford Taurus or 2002 buick lesabre? All of them have low mileage as the Taurus have 69000 and the maxima have the highest of 123000. They all under 1100 bucks.
- Car stereo basic equipment needed? I have a 97 ford ranger single cab. I want a decent stereo to crank up the music. Yes I'm the type of guy that likes others to listen to my bass and music while driving. But my stock stereo is just a joke. I want to know what are the basic components needed for a decent stereo system. And if I can even fit subwoofers on my mini truck cab. Upgrade the battery? How much a good system go for?
