Need engine and valve cover for 1963 ford falcon?
Hi so apart from scouring every scrap yard in the country you don't have much help.
I'm pretty sure that if you buy a complete engine, it will come with a valve cover(s)
If you want to restore it, this can be tricky. The straight sixes are a bit rare to find. Because it is pre 65 the V8 used a different bolt pattern on the bell housing.
I would suggest getting a copy of Hemmings Motor News and seeing what is out there.
If you are just trying to get it back on the road, it isn't a big problem there are plenty of more modern engines and transmissions that will fit. Some would look right to the un-trained eye.
As far as I know, Edelbrock offers pretty descent valve cover sets for your '63. Give the guys from Carid a call and they will check on the fitment and availability with the manufacturer for you.
JCwhitney.com. If they don't have it, try Amazon.
