My cousin is planning to buy a 2016 Nissan Juke?

How can I explain to him that Nissan cars are not as reliable as Ford and Chevrolet?

What makes you think Nissan is not reliable? I had a 1995 Nissan Maxima SE 5-speed for a month shy of 18 years, and it never had any mechanical issues with the engine or drive train and the clutch was original. And I did competition driving, parking lot slaloms and high speed autocross on wide open 2 mile road racing tracks. But I did not drive it much in winter, so it did not rust.

My 2001 Pathfinder used primarily in winter started getting rusty by the time it was 14 years old, but never had any engine, transmission, or drive train problems. Its 3.5L V6 still had more power (240 hp) than the 5L V8 (185 hp) ever did in my 1986 F150 4WD (which I traded when 13 years old for the 3 year old Pathfinder). Both vehicles were about the same weight. Let your cousin buy a nissan, then smash it up with a rusty bicycle chain. You can then say to your cousin "i told you they are unreliable, just look at the iron -clad proof", whilst pointing to the smashed up Nissan If you know that they are not as reliable then you must have learnt this from some source so share that source with the cousin in question. If you have no real source then you are actually wrong. Use facts and figures, look them up. If it is your opinion, like i think it is. Good luck coming up with a convincing argument. I'd love to listen in. Just explain that you are delusional and haven't been taking your meds recently. People who want Jukes can't be talked out of Jukes. And you know nothing about reliability anyway. A Nissan is much more reliable than a Ford or a Chevy, your cousin is the smart one Show him other car brands and other models that might interest him. Make sure they at good quality models your looking into or models that are similar to the car he is looking at. Otherwise l, he might disregard your advice
