Which sports car is best under 10k?

For the money, get the MX-5 or the MR2.
Reason is they are relatively cheap, so you can get a good one for that money, and they are also reliable, economical and cheaper to service. Similar to a regular Mazda 3 or a Corolla. Just more fun to drive.
The more exotic cars, you will be in an older model, and it will cost a fortune to keep it on the road, as well as using 2X the gas.
That's not to say they are the BEST cars, but they are the best to buy if you only have ~$10K. Better to be cruising in your MX5 than sitting at home looking at a Porsche that needs a $10K engine rebuild.
I absolutely love my Miata's. (MX-5) I'm on my third one. NO major mechanical hiccups.

- Sporty and somewhat unique sedan under 10k? I'm trying to find a used sedan of any make or model that is sporty and preferably can have a manual transmission. It also needs to be somewhat reliable, and easy to work on. I would also be like for this vehicle to be 2005 and up, and under 10,000 dollars. I have looked into some Volvo's, Subaru's, and Audi's. I'm open to anything from a Ford to a Saab, I would really like it to stand out as well!
- Which would be a better choice for a sports car: a Mustang GT or a Corvette c6? The mustang gt is 2005-2008ish, and the corvette c6 is 2005-2007ish. I'm leaning to the corvette since they're worth more money and I always have been a fan of corvettes, but then the mustang can fit 4 people while the vette only seats two. Which would be the better choice?
- Best new first car under $20,000? I'm a 16 year old guy and my parents want me to get a new car (they have less problems/repairs). The only catch is that it must be under $20k and I have to pay 25-50% of the price. I really want a 2014 v6 mustang, but my dad thinks fords are trash. Don't say anything about insurance, I know it will be high for a 16 year old boy on any new car.
