What's a fair price to pay for this car?

I'm looking into buying a used car and came across a 2010 Ford Mustang GT. The car has 23,500 miles on it, cushion seats, and a 5l engine. What would you consider a fair price to pay for this car?

21,000

1. It doesn't have a 5.0L engine. A 2010 Mustang GT will have the 3 valve 4.6L.

2. A good price for a deluxe model would be around $20k
A good price the premium model (leather, shaker audio, nav, etc.) would be around $23k

18,000

  • Pay Cash at car dealership, lower price? Recently sold my truck, and have a good amount of money to buy a car from a delearship, like ford, chevy, etc… I have the chance of paying for the car I want in cash. I know if I do this I would be able to haggle down the asking price, my question is how much? Anyone from experience done this before? Or would I just be better off making a huge down payment and paying the rest off? Comments or stories would help.
  • Is the fair purchase price before incentives? I'm looking at a fordifferent mustang and it says fair purchase price of 23000. I have a benefit from working at target that says it takes an average of 2000 off a car. Does that mean that they get a deal with Ford? The guy at the dealership also said since I'm a student I get 500 off from Ford as well as a 750 incentive from Ford. So does that mean I can get this car for around 20000?
  • How to negotiate on a new car and how low can you price the car? I'm trying to buy a brand new 2014 car and these are my options. Ford Mustang I've seen it priced as low as 17,500 Chevy Mustang 18,300. Volkswagen Passat 16,700. How do I go about negotiating and what how much do you think I can get any of these cars for priced at the lowest.
  • How much do you pay to ford if you want to buy a new car and pay monthly? I was wondering, if I want to buy the new 2015 mustang, how much do I pay each month to ford if the car is $26,500. First car for me
