What is the price range I would spend 2 procharged my 1997 Ford Mustang GT 4.6l 2v V8?

I'm either going to get it turbocharged or I'm going to get it procharged. If I get it procharged I'm going through the company with a which I rather do. But if it costs too much I'll be forced to do it turbomyself. I'm just trying to figure out what's price range I would spend going through the company for the pro charger

I would avoid that. As it is a good way to destroy your motor.

$5000 + or

The stock internals can only tolerate about 7 pounds of boost, which means a turbo isn't going to be ideal. You can run more boost if you rebuild the bottom end with a forged crank, forged rods and forged pistons. However just that alone will run a couple grand in parts and labor.

A supercharger will run around $5k-$7k for everything you'll need (bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, bigger MAF, new intake manifold, etc.) Labor will be another grand or so, plus another $300-$400 for a dyno tune (required).

I can't tell you much about turbo other that most people who turbocharge Mustangs run twin turbo setup and get the previously mentioned forged internals, they make impressive power, but to do it right and keep it reliable, it gets expensive.
