Service contract for ford?

2012 mustang v6 27,000miles, I was offered bumper to bumper service plan which covers anything wrong with car before 100,000 miles, and includes my oil changes, they added $2,800 for this service on top of my car total. I have 30 days to cancel. Is this a good thing or bad? Do you think mustang will break down before the 100,000 miles? Should I keep it, should I get rid of it? I drive 25,000 miles a year so ill get to that 100,000 mark fast. Please can you give me opinion what I should do

Cancel it. Bumper to Bumper is really not as what is said. Read the fine print. There are a lot of exemptions, like small electrical components are not covered, like the power side mirror motors, actuator door locks, gas cap, switches, etc.
From my experience it was a waste. I had small things breaks and they were not even covered. Save the money, put it in the bank, let it earn interest, just use it when something breaks.

$2,800? Major waste of cash. Simply use that money for proper and regular service and maintenance costs.
