Is $17,000 for a used 2013 Ford Mustang a good price?
Has 16,000 miles, I'm kinda skeptical, because for that price and miles I think there are at least some problems that can occur overtime as I drive it. This will be my first daily driver car.

I always wonder why someone wants to sell a car with low mileage. Pay to have it checked out.
Is it a V6 or GT? The V6 model usually goes for around that price. Is it fully loaded with all the options? It could have been a former rental car (they sell for lower prices when the rental company sells). I would have it checked out and if it's good, go for it.
Get it checked by a professional mechanic. Look at the Carfax. Has it been wrecked? How many owners?

Offer 14k that's better than 16k and that's what it's worth
It should still be under factory warranty until 36 months from original purchase date or 36,000 miles which ever comes first. The price depends on which model and what accessories it has.
