How to change my Ford Sync US Frequency to different region?

I have a Ford Mustang 2013 which is imported from USA. The FM frequency jumps odd decimals. Is there a way to change the region, have some adapter, or will Ford dealers help. I'm in Dubai, UAE.

I just don't want to take a drastic step in replacing the radio system. Some software/hardware hack that can help fix this.

Prior to 2015, the Mustang was only exported to Canada and Australia ( in limited quantities ), Mustangs found elsewhere in the world are usually grey market imports and as such don't have any market-specific changes made to them. There's no software/hardware hack to make the stock radio change frequency in even increments. Radio stations in the US and Canada are only on odd frequencies, hence your grey market import Mustang's radio will only have odd-numbered frequencies. You can either live with it or get an aftermarket radio.

  • Why do car companies sell in different countries under different names? Why are companies like Chevrolet selling their cars under names like Holden in Australia? I'm not sure if Chevrolet sells in Australia but I do think they do. If they already sell in Australia, what's the point of selling the same thing under Holden? Another example is some Ford cars are sold under Lincoln, and Chevrolet sells the same thing under GMC. Buick and Opel? What's with this?
  • 24 hour mode in Ford SYNC? Is there a way to switch the clock displayed on the SYNC screen from the 12 hour AM/PM mode top a 24 hour format? The 2014 Mustang owner manual does not provide any clue as to how, or even if it is at all possible.
  • How to change to a different CD on the Ford Fusion 06? I'm having issues changing from CD to CD. Can someone explain to me how to move around. I know how to take them out and put them in. I just don't know how to change from CD 1 to CD 5.
  • Ford Sync not turning on? My ford sync worked fine a week or two ago, but lately it won't even turn on. I've tried to perform a master reset but it I can't access the options when I can even start sync up. The phone button on the radio doesn't work either, which is probably related to this. Any ideas on what's going on?
