Everything you know about this engine?
96 Mustang that my friend owns.
Their ex husband bought this for them years ago.
We're not sure if any of this is factory or all rebuilt, or if it is Ford or other?
Any details on this would be great. Thank you! 
It's a factory 3.8, it had head gaskets done at the time someone painted all that orange in it. Most looks old, like factory parts
It is painted Chevy orange.
The orange is custom, other than that the difference between OEM and performance parts often bear little visible indicators, but considering the odd effort to paint the engine (a non-Ford color) it is quite possible some of the parts have been upgraded when disassembled for painting, but upgrading the air intake is a basic cheap upgrade, and since it looks like the air intake housing is stock it is also possible no upgrades have been performed.
Another point is it is somewhat pointless to try to make a high performance vehicle out of a V6 Mustang since you have to spend a lot to just catch up with the stock V8 power.
- Why ford ecoboost in everything? Why the hell is ford sticking ecoboosts into everything, i understand it ks a very good engine because it is fuel efficient and makes a decent amount of power, but really? Ecoboosts in a ford gt? What is your opinion in this engine
- When Feinstein can't say everything Ford said was truthful proof truth and the welfare of this country doesn't matter to her? An honorable person would have started this process in July and would have spent time proving the content… Not seeing if it could delay the process when everything else failed miserably.
- How to go about replacing front end suspension parts when everything os really rusty? The springs everything is really rusty. 93 Ford Ranger. 124k miles. I wouldnt otherwise. Can i replace things like control arms and ball joints before doing the springs? What about tie rods and cvs? Any idea from a seasoned mechanic would help. I know you don't have the vehicle to look at but how Would you go about replacing really rusty front end suspension parts?
- If you have a judgment against you on your credit report will you still be able to buy a house? Judgment is from 2008 and it's from Ford motor credit on mileage when we turned in a leased vehicle
