Do i need to install forged internals to put a supercharger in my ford mustang gt 2007?

It has 85k miles. V8, 3V, 4.6L

If you want to run a lot of boost without blowing your engine yes. I would start with installing internals before bolting on a supercharger. Save you time and money in the long run.

Yes

Yes.

No

Maybe, depending on how many pounds of boost you intend to run.

If you DON'T before you install the supercharger, you probably WILL after you blow it up.

  • I need to put a different engine in my 1982 Ford Ranger Lariat and I don't know what to put in it? It's the biggest engine you could get at the time in those trucks, so it is a v8, I just don't know the exact size. Since the engine is pretty much dead that's in it I was wondering if almost any v8 could go in it's place or if it has any specific engine that has to go it in. Also any good suggestion for a good engine would be great.
  • Do I need an stereo install kit for a single din radio? I'm trying to install a single din aftermarket radio into my 94 ford ranger, the stock radio is a single din so I was wondering do I need to to buy a stereo install kit?
  • Is the supercharger sound annoying? In the ford mustang GT, I'd like to get a roush stage one supercharger. The thing is I look at other videos and in all of them, there's a very high pitched sound. And I was wondering if that was annoying or what not. Like is it really that loud, or is it because the camera is sensitive? If it is that loud is there any way to decrease the dB?
  • Can I mount any supercharger to a mustang? I will be getting a 3.8L v6 2004 Ford Mustang soon, and I want to know if I could use a cheaper OEM supercharger and mount/custom mount it to the block. I know that if I wanted high amounts of boost I would need forged internals but I'm planning on just giving it a good 5 or 6lbs. Would I also need a special cooling system as well? I would appreciate anything.
