Did the Ford Mustang ever come equipped with hubcaps?

Wondering if there's ever been a mustang from any generation that had hubcaps standard or as an option?

Yes they did back in the 60's

Hubcaps were still being used until at least 2006. The term hubcap can be used for any "cover" that is applied to the rim at the hub.
Many Mustang parts suppliers have listings for them.
One such catalogue for mustang hubcaps can be found at this link:

For many years or "generations", hubcaps were standard and alloys were an optional, extra charge item.

Hi yes back in the 1960's it did.

Ford Ranger at the time were also equipped with Firestone tires. If a Ford Ranger is equipped with Firestone tires is it really possible for it to roll over like the Ford Explorer.
  • Did ford ever put a V8 in any of the Rangers? I'm wondering if Ford ever made a Ford Ranger with a V8 engine. I know for a fact that they put a 4 cylinder and V6's in them and I know they put V8's in Ford Explorer's but I have no idea if they put them in the Ranger
  • Where can I buy stock 1987-1993 Ford Mustang LX hubcaps? I have a 1990 Ford Mustang LX and it currently had no hubcaps on it, can someone please post a link where I can buy some. They must be stock LX hubcaps and it doesn't matter if I have to buy them in a set, or individually. The more sources, the better. Best question gets points, thanks for looking!
