Did Ford ever make an 8.0 L V8?
I was reading the GTS standings for the 1999 ALMS season and it says the Saleen Mustang SR had a Ford 8.0 L V8.
The biggest engine Ford ever put in a passenger car was a 7.54L 460 CID big block, but I don't think that one ever found its way between the fenders of a Mustang. The biggest factory Mustang engine was a 7.0L 429 V8.
Ford may have made bigger truck engines, though. I'm not sure about that.
An 8.0L V8 would be a custom made race setup. Other than maybe the sheetmetal, I don't think there would be much of anything factory stock on an ALMS race car.
In the 90's Ford Special Vehicle Team(SVT) put a big block V-8 in a Boss Mustang it was 598 cubic inches close to 10 liters. It went up against a highly modified ZL-1 Camaro.
- Did ford ever put a V8 in any of the Rangers? I'm wondering if Ford ever made a Ford Ranger with a V8 engine. I know for a fact that they put a 4 cylinder and V6's in them and I know they put V8's in Ford Explorer's but I have no idea if they put them in the Ranger
- Did the Ford Mustang ever come equipped with hubcaps? Wondering if there's ever been a mustang from any generation that had hubcaps standard or as an option?
- Media and the left are bent on believing Ford no matter what. Will she make up details to make sure her story is believable? So far her only witness has denied being there. Her details are so sketchy they are not really believable. But, Kavanaugh is being roasted anyway. This is just terrible. The point being, she could say ANYTHING at this point and the left would believe it. She can contradict herself (the number of people in the room) or she can flat out lie because we're not demanding any proof. It is really terrible what they are doing to Kavanaugh.
- Did General Motors ever own the Ford car? In the history when Ford was made did General Motors ever own Ford? Was it ever General Motor's division? Ok if that's a little confusing how about this: What are all the car companies owned by General Motors, was Ford ever one of them? Was Ford always a private company or was it ever once owned by General Motors?
