Can 1979 Ford mustang tail lights fit a 83-86 mustang?
I like the 1979 mustang tail lights, but prefer the front end of the 1983-86 front end (little more sleaker). I have heard they can and also heard the can't because of how the lights and wiring fix in to the body.

You can make the wiring work, it's only power and ground to the different bulbs. You can splice wires in if they're too short.
- 98 ford taurus stuck in gear tail lights won't come on? Everything was fine till I had a taillight out changed it it came on then started it wouldn't come out of gear and tail lights don't work
- How to put the wiring harness back on a 93 ford ranger for the tail lights after I put the bed back on? How do I put the wiring harness back on a 93 ford ranger for the tail lights after I put the bed back on?
- 99 Ford ranger XLT base model. Park lights, dash lights, and license plates lights out I checked online and realized it was probably a fuse which it is. Fuse 11 in my power distribution box. The problem is I keep replacing at and soon as I turn on my lights it blows instantly. Have replaced it multiple times. So then I looked under my truck and disconnected the wiring to my taillights and replaced the fuse, it worked it didn't blow. Dash lights and license plates lights were on so I figured some where there's a problem with the brake lights. Any suggestions?
- Headlights, instrument cluster lights, tail lights, and dome light all stopped working at once? 1995 Mustang GT convertible, fuses are good, switch is good. I'm about to do a voltage drop test on it tomorrow but I wanted to see if you Ford guys knew something that I'm overlooking.
