2016 ford 5.0 GT Mustang fuel economy?
I already drive a mustang and probably get about a weeks worth of gas before I fill up or less. Holds about 14.3 gallons to 15.
The question is i'm getting a 2016 GT 5.0 manual Mustang and want to know if it will be worse or about the same, or better?
Its rated 16-25 mpg… So depends on what your car gets… Most mustangs get the same gas mileage.
You'd probably be lucky to get around 20MPG out of it realistically, so if you want fuel economy go with the ecoboost
"A week's worth of gas" doesn't mean anything. Some people drive 1000 miles a week, some people drive 50 miles a week. So obviously without knowing the amount of distance you're traveling a week, it's impossible to answer your question with the information you've provided.
But generally speaking the 2015+ GT's get about the same real-world fuel economy as any other V8 Mustang of the last 18 years or so. If you have a V6 Mustang then expect a little worse fuel economy about 2-3 MPG difference overall.
I have a 2016 5.0 GT Mustang with 6 Speed Manual Transmission. Tires are maintained at recommended psi and 91 octane fuel always used. Specifications show city miles @ 15mpg. I've never had better than 10mpg. Mileage is very low 10k. I do not drive hard or in bad weather. Is this normal. Something seems wrong.
- Why is my fuel economy so bad? I have a 2000 ford falcon forte petrol engine, and it's fuel is still terrible, I've had a fuel service done, a fuel treatment done, even an transmission service done. The transmission service did a hell of a difference, but it's still not fixed. The diagnostic scan came up empty, ruling out any electrical problem. What can it be?
- Will a new exhaust actually increase horsepower and fuel economy in my 2001 ford ranger 4.0? I'm looking at the flowmaster 40 series duel exhaust here: http://www.truckexhaustkits.com/ranger-96-04-dual-exhaust-2-25-ma-pipe-flowmaster-40/
- 2016 Ford Mustang Or Chevy Camaro 2016? Which one is overall better. Which one looks better? I can afford a v8 but I don't want to fill up my gas tank every 3 days because I drive far. Which one do you like the look of more?
- Is it possible for an SUV to have better fuel economy than a (5 year old) Sedan? 2 friends of mine: One owns a Lexus LX 570 SUV (not sure if it's a 2018 or 2019 model) and claims that it can go about 700km on a full tank. The other guy owns a Ford Fusion 2014 (Sedan) and says that his can go about 470km on a full tank. (apparently, It used to go about 600km when it was new). How could this even be possible?
