2006 Ford Mustang i both ABS light on?
I recently got an 06 Mustang that has the ABS and TCS light on already. I had a guy check it out and he's positive the hub assembly and bearings are still good. I replaced the sensor and I drove around the block and the light is still on. I even tried to disconnect the negative terminal and that was a waste of time. What is my next step? The car is not breaking funny or doing anything out of the norm. Please someone help me!
You said you replaced "the" sensor. Well there are four wheel sensors what was the sensor you replaced? Your local Ford dealer can read the code and do the repair cheaper then you going around the car changing parts.
- Why would you think my 2008 Ford H 53 chassis Motor home engine randomly cut off and the ABS light come on? Ford Triton V10 when heading up a hill sometimes the engine will cut out and the ABS light on the dash comes on and goes out. The engine continues to run and we get home just fine. Seems like power is getting cut off or something.
- Will my abs light come on if my brake pump is going out? My 1995 ford ranger's abs light is off once I start my truck and the turns on after I roll about 20ft. And in the time before that 20ft when the light is off, if I press the brake too hard the brakes lock up. Once the light comes on braking for is basically normal
- My trucks bucked really hard and then ABS light came on? I've been having problems with my truck. It has sometimes where it bucks like a baby bull and I figured my clutch was slipping. The other day it did it and my abs flashed a few times then stayed on. I turned off my truck then back on and it went away. Could my electronics be tripping my abs system? It's an 03 Ford Ranger edge 5 speed with a 3.0l.
- ABS light unidentifiable? I have a 2000 ford ranger 4x4. I have an abs light on and have tried my code reader on it… My reader is supposed to read and codes and I had it set on the right program. Anyways, it said no codes stored on the module. So, I borrowed a friends and it said the same thing and so did the parts store. Any ideas on what's going on and why? I may ought to take it to the dealer.
