2001 Ford Mustang. Why is my coolant reservoir always low?

I just did a radiator flush myself
Nothing is leaking! The AC isn't workin but i think thats a separate problem

Anyway i filled up my coolant to nearly max and then a day later it gets low! What is going on? Car isn't overheating either

Loosing coolant with no apparent leak can be a symptom of a blown head gasket. This is a very serious problem that you can't ignore. You will ruin your engine if you indeed do have a blown head gasket. Normally the engine will overheat or miss and you will see white smoke from the exhaust. It can also be the leak is in a place where the coolant is being burned away by a hot exhaust and never reaches the ground. A cooling system pressure test will verify if you have a leak. A compression test may also be needed. Get this repaired immediately.

If you flushed the cooling system it is probaly getting any air out and refilling from the bottle also water does evaporate and refills from the overflow bottle

Leak in intake GASKETS perhaps or air in the system! NOT A BIG DEAL! BYE NOW!

  • 2002 ford taurus coolant bubbling out of coolant tank cap? Coolant is bubbling out of the tank cap on my taurus. The coolant is a bit over the fill to line. The coolant is the normal green color. I don't think it having a bit of extra coolant in the tank is doing this. The cap itself maybe? I just bought this car and it didn't do this until today.

Yesterday there was a coolant level low light on, so I went to my nearest dealership and picked up a gallon of coolant. While pouring the coolant into the reservoir, a piece of foil (the foil seal you break when you buy it) about the size of a quarter fell into my reservoir. After an hour of trying to fish it out and find it, I gave up. Today I tried again but the piece of foil was not there anymore. What should I do?
  • Why does water build up in water reservoir? Car is ford focus sedan 2003 1.6engine So we changed the water reservoir recently and now water builds up in the reservoir.
