Update: I'm not renting it. It might be different in america, but this car is

You have a lease car not finance. The car will go back at the end or you will pay a fee to keep it.
The car is theirs and if you do more than 12.000 miles it reduces the value of the car and increases the maintenance costs.
Make sure you check what you signed up to.

Do you have the car on Ford options?

If so then it only become an issue if you hand the car back after 3 years. They will check the mileage and charge you six pence a mile at the end of the agreement.

If you agree to buy the car you just pay the amount outstanding or if you part exchange the car they just give you the value at whatever mileage is on the car.***:D

You are only limited when you lease. Not when you buy/finance.

  • Why would people buy older foreign cars instead of brand new American cars? I see it all the time, people driving 7-8 year old Mercedes or BMWs that they paid probably paid around $20,000. They could of easily gone out and bought a brand new Ford or Dodge, but they didn't. They bought a Mercedes with over 100k miles. All worn and torn on the inside. But aslong as they're shining on the outside I guess.
  • Old classic cars vs newer classic cars? I'm looking at a 1974 corvette stingray and I'm thinking about buying it but at the same time i've been looking at f-body and fox body camaros and mustangs I need help narrowing down my decision so I would like to hear your opinions on whether to get the 74 stingray or the f- body and fox body mustangs
  • Is there a time limit for sending in photos after a modeling scout asks for them? So I recently submitted some photos to ford models and they responded requesting more photos taken outside in natural light and with certain poses and attire. The only problem is that school work and daylight savings make this incredibly hard to do. It will take me at least 2-3 days before I have the time to respond, does this look bad? Will I be killing my chance before I even get it by not responding quickly? Also is it common for them to email back?
  • Is Ford Credit a bad company to finance with? I recently heard that Ford is an example of bad financing, I wonder how true that is. If there's anyone out there who knows for sure, please give me the answer.
