Manual transmission. Car revs when accelerating?
I have a 91 Ford probe and just changed the clutch. While in gear, (2-5) when I mash the gas pedal to accelerate, the RPMs increase as if the clutch is engaged slightly
That old it might have a cable you can adjust. Check your pedal free play.
I'm confused. Isn't the RPM supposed to increase when you step on the gas?
You screwed something up… It's slipping.
