What's wrong with my 2004 ford ka? Even when my clutch is fully pressed it will cut out?
When my clutch is fully pressed it will sometimes cut out. Sometimes the gear stick gets stuck in a gear meaning I have to stall my car to be able to reapply the clutch and change gear and sometimes the car won't go into a gear!
You could have a worn clutch disc or a bad pressure plate or something. Either way you are looking at the entire clutch needing to be rebuilt it sounds like.
- After running a few minutes my clutch quites fully disengaging? I have a 93 Ford Ranger v6 5sp. I replaced the slave cylinder a few months ago, while I was at it I changed tranny fluid and the clutch. Just recently it has been acting up. At a cold start the clutch works fine, but after a 10 minutes of driving it quits fully disengaging. If I take my foot off the brake it will roll forward like it is half engaged. Any ideas what to do?
- 2009 ford ranger air conditioning compressor clutch bolt broke, clutch fell off,? Bolt stuck in compressor shaft. Best way to get the bolt out, or take the pulley off to get a better grip on the shaft?
- 2000 Ford Ranger v6 4.0 ltr, my tuck started to cut out and die? I flushed the cooling system and then filled it with water and cleaner, then ran it for about 10 minutes then let it cool, then I drained it and filled it with new coolant; I ran it to get it warm an then it started to die, almost like its not getting enough air or gas. I have no clue what happened or what could happen it seems pretty idiot proof to screw up I don't know what to do.
