What should I do after I broke a front wheel? Should I replace both?

I have a ford Ka. Recnetly, I accidentally broke the near side front wheel by hitting it heavily on to a curb, the rim was bent not sure about the tyre(hope it survived…)

Then, I replaced it with my spare(full size), the car runs ok with the spare, doesn't pull to one side but I don't know if it will have any problem in the future, because I heard that if a car runs with pair of tyres that are different it will end up with imbalance tyre wear and suspension damage etc. Particularly the front tyres.

I came up with a couple of considerations:

1. Just get a new pair at front, but it seems to be a waste of money as both the spare I'm using and the other front tyre have a lot of tread depth(can last at least one and half year but the tread depth of the spare should be definitely deeper, so the front tyres are different).

2.Keep using the spare as a normal tyre(it is full size), get a new spare tyre. (As my worry above, will it affect my car as I drive it more and more) Do I need to get a tyre balance If I do this?

3.Still get a new spare and swap the rear tyres with front tyres. Because I think rear tyres doens't matter a lot as long as I get the pressure right.

What is the best way to do considering both safety and cost?

I'm not sure how much difference there's between the spare and the tire (tyre) that it is paired with. I might just leave them on. If there's enough difference, I would put them both on the back and put the match back pair up front. If the tyre is not vibrating, there should be no need for new balancing.

Always put the most-worn tyres on the front.
This is because a loss of grip at the front is much easier to control than a loss of grip at the rear.

My advice would be to replace the damaged wheel and tyre, and put that and the tyre that was the spare (which is probably not very worn) on the rear, and use the most worn of the remaining tyres as the spare.

You need to get an alignment done. You probably bent the strut.
