On my Ford Focus I too at first had trouble working out to how open the Bonnet and found out I had to lift up the Ford badge at the front of the car and then use the car key to unlock the Bonnet catch, I don't know if you have to open the Bonnet on your Ford Ka the same way?
As said rotate the front badge and insert your ignition key. Turn left for first release right for the second release

- Why does 2017 ford focus 1.0L has less mpg than 2017 honda civic? It has tiny engine as geo metro like it supposed to be 50 mpg? The manual focus has 30 city 40 hwy mpg which is average for an 4 cylinder subcompact, while the automatic 1.5L civic makes 2 gained mpg difference.
