Added (1). Over the last week or so my window has only worked intermittently when it feels like it. When it works it works fine but when it doesn't the controls on driver and passenger side don't work at all. Sometimes opening and shutting the door would fix it temporarily. Today it's given up and the driver side window is down half way. I have a long car journey to make and I'm looking for a way to get the window shut. Fixing it in the process would be great, but getting it shut is the priority.
Try the switch while pulling the window up. If it starts pull your hand away. No luck with that. Take the inner door off. Locate the two # 10 bolts thru the window and remove. Push the window up and block it up with a piece of wood. Or get plastic and tape the window hole.
When it was still kind of working you should have left it up.

As I said I have 56 plate fiesta and the aux button on the stereo is there but has never been used. If I plug an aux lead into my car where the USB port charger is will hat Work just by plugging my phone in and pressing the aux button or will it need something done to the stereo for it to work?
