A second front door for people she only had a business relationship with is reasonable for someone who may have reason not to trust people. Since people she did not know well enough to trust would be entering her home it seems reasonable in her situation. I have been to plenty of home businesses without a separate front door. Having one is the more unusual arrangement. It does show she has a fear. It is a stupid assertion that means something only to stupid people.
