Is this a good deal for a car?

Its a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria. I'm buying it for $1500, it has a little over 178,000 miles on it, the body is almost immaculate, seems to ride nice. Only concern is when I was test driving it, the check engine light was blinking, called the owner ti pick up the car today and he said it was misfiring, so he took it to the garage to get it fixed before I buy it from him. So is $1500 a good deal for this car? Thanks

Added (1). Owner also put the best tires on the back of the car. It also comes with 2 spare tires, THE CAR IS AN OLD POLICE INTERCEPTOR.

Misfiring can just be a spark plug which do not cost much to fix. A crown victoria is a good car to buy and your getting a good deal for it. Just youll need to replace the spark plugs

With a crown its all about looks make sure it has a good body and mediocre ingene which has lots of parts options cops dodo crash.

Misfiring could be a significant issue.

With 178k, you should assume the worst.

  • Is this a good deal on this car? Okay, so my dad totaled my grandma's 1999 Ford Taurus and this is the closest thing I could find to what she had. My grandma doesn't drive much so the vehicle's age doesn't matter really but she still wants a car to drive around in. My local Mazda dealer is selling this 2008 Mazda5 with 92,567 miles for $8,980. Is this a good deal?

  • Is this a good deal for a 1974 ford ltd? The car looks great in person, and the guy seems very trustworthy. Selling for $4,500. I'm looking for something reliable but still has some mojo and comfort.
