The mustang will never be a supercar. There's no power requirement or even a formal definition as to what makes a car a supercar. For example an old Ferrari 348 is considered a supercar but a Nissan 370z with more power and most likely better handling is not a supercar despite the better performance.
a Mustang is a muscle / pony car. They will never be a supercar even with 10,000 hp.
the new Dodge Challenger Hellcat will have a 707 hp engine right out of the factory but just like the mustang and camaro, it is not a supercar.

Don't have money to buy radiator at this moment so an I fine just putting water in it for a while. When I was refilling with antifreeze it would be empty within two days.   • Shelby vs Ford Performance? I have a coworker who just bought a 2016 Shelby GT350. I said, Ford made a good car, with the 350. He got defensive, saying his car was a Shelby. Not a Ford. It says Shelby, so it was built by them. I told him that the 350/350R was built by Ford Performance. Not Shelby. So, how can you tell if your car was completed by Shelby American, or Ford Performance?
