Is car detailing hard work? And any other info?
I'm a girl, and I recently just turned 17. I was offered the position for a car detailer at ford. The hours are m-f 8am to 5pm. With every other Saturday off. People are telling me it's a really hard job physically wise. Any information?
Car Detailing can be tasking and fun(if you have/or develop a passion for the job).
I suggest you take a look at some videos on youtube.com and get a feel of what's involved.
I suppose it isn't the easiest work out there but anybody who works steel or drilling works much harder.
I used to detail cars before I moved up in the world and I consider myself lucky to have done it.
I looked for years to find detail and finally found it at DE END OF DEBIRD!
You're a girl, why do you want to detail cars? Find a Costco and apply there. They pay good wages.
- If my power steering pump and pulley break, is there any other parts I may have to potentially replace? Last night when I was driving, my power steering pump busted and also broke my power steering pulley. I have a 2002 ford Taurus. In the process of the pulley breaking off, the serpentine belt came off. It is still on the car so I just have to re position it once the new pulley is on. My question is through this incident, could anything else have broken? I just did a bypass pulley for the AC compressor last week. And I also replaced the serpentine belt last week.
- Should AG Sessions extend US Marshal protection to Dr. Ford and any other women being threatened for testifying about Judge Kavanaugh? Kavanaugh is receiving protection from the US Marshals. Dr. Ford has to pay for her own protection. This is despicable.
- Is it hard to work on a classic car? I know how to change oil, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, disk brakes, drum brakes, air filters etc on modern day cars. I would like to get a classic car in the future, but I hear people saying they are unreliable and the require a lot of money to take care of and fix. Are they difficult to fix? And are there shop manuals to buy to tell you how to do the repairs yourself? I like the cars from the 50's like the 56 ford crest line
