Is a 1977 ford thunder bird a muscle car also.is.it.a.good car for a.high schooler?

I'm 15 and I. Just enherited a thunderbird and I just haf a few questions about.it

1957 T-Bird was a muscle car; 351 v-8 in a tiny 2 seater. 20 years later it was just a big soft Ford. 1977 was a bad year for just about all American cars. If your school offers auto shop, sign up. Yeah, you'll be OK, just be careful when you park that big monster.

First - I'm so jealous! If you love classic muscle cars and love to work on cars. This is the car for you. Yes, it eats gas. But all muscle cars do. If you can't give her a proper home. Sell her to someone that will and buy a car that fits your lifestyle.

Could be a muscle car, depending on which engine. It was a good year and is a valuable collector's item these days.

It never was a muscle car. You inherited it, meaning you did not pay toward purchasing it. That is saving a few bucks. Maintenance is still a must do type of thing. This is your first expensive girl friend.

The 'muscle car' died in like '73 or '74 when the government mandated unleaded gas & that met low compression engines.

More like a mid-sized luxury cruiser.

  • Which vehicle is cooler for a high-schooler to have? So I know this is kind of a stupid question, but which would be cooler for me to get (or just the better option), a 99 Ford ranger xlt extended cab 4wd (red) or an 02 Mazda protégé lx (black)? It's my first real car that I'm paying for, I had a 97 vw cabrio convertible that I got from my brother and crashed… Also, which one would be more fun to drive? They are both manuals (automatics are boring…)
  • Muscle cars with small engine? Hi guys I'm looking for a muscle car that looks like ford mustang or dodge challenger but the problem is I live in europe and the engines like 5.2 are huge for my wallet so it there a muscle car that is like 4.0 or less?
  • I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street. Thank you very much about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car?
  • How much upkeep do classic muscle cars require? I have loved classic American muscle cars all my life and have finally got to a stage where I can afford one. But I don't want to invest if I won't have the time to keep it in top working condition. How much maintenance work/costs does it roughly require to keep cars like a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro or 1967 Ford Mustang in good working order?
