Interior lights won't come on when the door is open on my 2003 Ford Windstar?
I just bought a 2003 Ford Windstar, and the interior lights don't turn on when a door is opened. If we turn the switch all the way up, all the lights come on, but don't ever turn off. It's not associated with a door being open. Anyone aware of how to fix this?
We were not aware of it until you told us.
The switch is no good. It may be part of the latch assembly, or it may have a regular plunger type switch.
Sounds like the switch at the door is in need of replacing.

- Will a 2000 Ford Windstar lx fuse box diagram be the same as a 2003 Ford Windstar fuse box? I found a link about a 2003 but I need to know if it'll be the same for a 2000. - 99 Ford ranger XLT base model. Park lights, dash lights, and license plates lights out I checked online and realized it was probably a fuse which it is. Fuse 11 in my power distribution box. The problem is I keep replacing at and soon as I turn on my lights it blows instantly. Have replaced it multiple times. So then I looked under my truck and disconnected the wiring to my taillights and replaced the fuse, it worked it didn't blow. Dash lights and license plates lights were on so I figured some where there's a problem with the brake lights. Any suggestions?
