If they made Back to the Future nowadays what car would you use as the time machine?
Don't just pick a car that reminds you of the DeLorean that's not the premise of the question really. Imagine a cars at maybe just something that nobody would be expecting as a time machine this does not mean pick a Lamborghini and Maserati a Ferrari or any other Italian car.
Like honestly my choice was something that nobody would be expecting an old Ford f600 just because I thought that nobody would be expecting that and it be kind of funny especially if it had like a really hard stick shift or something
Hummer. Just because Hummers are the Delorian of today
If we kept with the premise that you needed a steel structure to spread the time traveling field all over the car… You'd be hard pressed to find a modern car. Plastics and Carbon Fiber are the watch words in a lot of newer cars and so a full steel skin is going to be hard unless you took a step back and used some of the cars from the 70s and 80s.
And if we're also going with the premise of needing to hit 88mph… You need a steel-skinned car that can hit that easily. So that would be things like Dodge Chargers, Ford Mustangs or GM's Camaro/Trans-Am/Firebird as possibilities.
VW beetle
Probably a Tesla
Something quirky that you don't see often, with sporting pretensions but really isn't all that fast…
1. Chrysler Crossfire
2. Volkswagen Scirocco
3. Cadillac XLR
Would your Ford F600 get to 88 mph?
- Will I be able to fit a washing machine in the back of a Ford Focus estate? Obviously not stood up, but on its back, front or sides… But wouldn't this damage the drum, or… What exactly? Is there a preferential side to lie it down on. Jeez!
- What market opportunities do you think Ford should focus on in the future? I've been reading that Ford has somewhat been going down hill, so what do you think they should focus on?
- Can I upgrade my ZX3 into a drifting machine? So I got my older brother's car and I've always wanted to built a drift car, but I don't know if the Ford Focus is a good place to start. Should I give it a try or should I sell it and buy something?
- I replaced my PCM in a Ford escape and got new keys made, it worked. Now that PCM Broke and i'm trying to put the original PCM back in car? My PCM broke so i ordered a replacement PCM and Keys. I installed the replacement and it worked for a month and broke so I sent the replacemnet back. I had the original PCM repaired wile waiting foir the replacemnt to be shipped back to me. Now I can't get the original PCM to start. It is because i reprogrammed the keys to the replacement PCM. Or because I replaces the drivers in the original PCM it has to be reprogrammed or something?
