I need a little advice in buying a new car?
I have a great steady job and I can afford to buy a car from the dealership. It is the first time I ever go to a dealership for a car. I'm just wondering if there's any good reliable brands you can recommend to look out for? How is Ford, in your opinion? Also, what are the next steps one takes after buying a new car? Tags, plates, and insurance right?
Go to a bank or credit union and see what they will loan you.
Well… Great to hear this… I just wanna tell you, you first decide which type you wanna buy… I mean Sedan, Hatchback, SUV… After deciding this it will be pretty easy for you to reach on any conclusion…
And if you have any confusion regarding the Types I have mentioned here is the link which will help you in sorting out the difference…

If you buy new negotiate then negotiate some more.
If you buy used be sure to check Kelly blue book for reasonable prices, get the carfax and read CR as noted above.
Dealer takes care of most it and maybe temp insurance too.
new car will cost you the depreciation, maybe 10% of car's cost.
2-3 yrs old, most depreciation paid off by first owner. And car could be excel condition, <30k mi, still under warranty, or eligible for warranty.
check w/ name brand dealers finance managers for details, 2 opinions at least; vw car: vw dealer.
you could buy a car like that privately and save $1000s.
Don't' buy anything w/o reading CR.

Go to a bank or credit union and see what they will loan you. Also see what insurance will run before you buy a vehicle. If you have a loan you are required to carry full coverage insurance. My best advice is to consider going with a nearly new used car. When you buy a brand spanking new car when you drive it off the lot the value drops thousands of dollars. A late model used car has low miles along with a warranty on it. You asked which car is best. Every one has their choice of what to buy. Find a car you like and then see if you can afford to buy it.
- Does anyone have a Ford Focus or a car with overdrive button? Need advice on the overdrive? Button! I'm confused. When I start my car, the overdrive [off] button goes off. Do I have to push the button on the gear shifter to turn it on? Or am I already in overdrive? I've read the manual and am still confused. I know that when I see overdrive off that it is off, but there's nothing to say it is on. Help! My question is even confusing, I know! Sorry!
- First time car buyer: need advice? I would like to buy a car with the following conditions: safe, good gas mileage, easy for me to move seats down in case I move (I don't own much but two furniture pieces I have to put seats down), certified preowned. My family runs within the Toyota, ford and Chevy business but I'm willing to look beyond those as long as the cars aren t notorious for being a lemon. And how much would be good to put down?
- What do you think of buying a new Hyundai accent, kia rio, or ford fiesta as a second car? My current car is old and falling apart it has rust everywhere and rocker panels are rotted out. So i was thinking about get a new cheap car like a Hyundai accent or KIA Rio or ford fiesta. What do you think? I don't want a big car just something basic to get me around.
- Buying advice with 1990s Ford f150s? I'm looking to buy a Ford f150, and I've been looking at ones from the 90s on Craigslist, because I like the body style and they're cheap. I'm somewhat concerned about the price though, are there issues with these trucks? They typically sell with around 100,000 miles on them in the $3,000 range.
