I hit a parked car. Need info?
So I hit a parked car today (unattended) as I was parking in the spot next to it. I saw the car before I hit it and I noticed that it was already damaged. I got out and saw that the whole bumper came off. Do I have to pay for the whole thing even though I didn't cause the entire damage? It's a ford (looked kind of old). About how much will it cost? I already have a video of the accident because I have a car camera… I left my phone number and information. I'm also in Texas so it would be appreciated if I'm informed with the Texas parking lot laws. Also before this, I was involved in a hit and run accident (I was hit) so will I have to pay more for my insurance? Thanks!
Added (1). Also, it was in a university parking lot, if this helps.
They can't repair it back to where it was damaged before you hit it. It has to be repaired completely. If you knocked the bumper off you nailed it pretty good and yes your insurance will go up.
The only law you need to know is anyone who hits a parked car is responsible for the damages.
So, just before you hit this parked car, you noticed prior damages? If so, why did you hit it?
File a claim with your insurance. IF, in fact this vehicle had prior damages, a good appraiser or body shop can tell, and if so, then you owe for your damages only, not any prior damages before you. So, in other words the estimate, (if prior damages) will subtract out prior damages and insurance only pays for the new that you did.

- I parked my 2017 Ford Mustang in my apartment parking garage on the 4th floor for 2 days with out moving it When I left it there I had more than half a tank of gasoline. When I returned to drive the car the gas tank was empty and the car would not start. There was no gas in there at all. Is there a mechanical answer for this?
- Is car detailing hard work? And any other info? I'm a girl, and I recently just turned 17. I was offered the position for a car detailer at ford. The hours are m-f 8am to 5pm. With every other Saturday off. People are telling me it's a really hard job physically wise. Any information?

You a metre and scowling at u without breaking his gaze, what's his problem? I looked away first stupidly as I'm in my car and should not have let him do that, but when he walked off he did another death stare at me for 5 metres… I feel violated by this agro guy… Why does he think he owns the street? would you have said " what's up?" Or what are you staring at so much? I'm 25 in a new Ford.
