I'm trying to send Century 21 a little letter about a house they have up for sale?

The house that Century 21 has up for sale on Ford Town Road… The one across the road from Grief Company has had people come by and look at this house… We live next door to this house and I can't believe your company would try showing this house when you can't even get onto the front porch… It's a small porch that has been over taken by bushes that no one will trim… It's A Total mess… The Mail Box Is tore up and the door to it hangs off… There are no numbers to be seen on anything because they are covered up by bushes… House numbers… I wish I could contact the rightful owners to this home because they need to know that their home has not been taken care of… If I can contact them I will tell them… I think they moved to Texas with Eastman.

WTF. Instead of posting here, call the number on the sign in front of the house. Or call the local Century 21 office.

Beat up, run-down houses are bought/sold all the time. This isn't the first and it won't be the last. Sometimes they are cleaned up/rehabbed. Other times they are knocked down and something new is built.

Your opinion/feedback is irrelevant to the parties involved. But if you'd like to but in, by all means, it's a free country. You can get the owner's name/address by contacting your county tax assessor. You can contact the listing agent by calling the number on the sign or takeaway.

And by the way, you've just practically listed your address on the internet. I suggest you remove the location specific info.

The listing agent of the house knows exactly what the condition the house is in. Who cares if a few bushes are overgrown. The house can still be sold.

If the house is in violation of some code enforcement law, call your local code enforcement office.

Century 21 won't care, and if someone really wants the house they will bother to fix it up once it's purchased

But the owner has asked them to sell the house for them. They have obviously been to inspect it so it can be listed.
What business is it of yours. This is between the owner and their Agent.

Calm down here. Its not your house, so why do you even care? If its a blight on the community, go and clean it up.

All of the nut cases can now contact you since you gave so many details as to who you are. You can probably report the property to the town… Most towns have laws about maintaining property… And there probably is a way to get the homeowners address through public records.

It is not Century 21's responsibility to maintain the house - they aren't getting paid for that. If the owner wants to properly maintain it, he/she must find a law/yard service to do so )not Century 21's responsibility there either). The only thing Century 21 can (and will) do is contact the owner to see if they are willing to have the yard work done. It may be, though, that the owner is selling as-is, in which case, nothing will get done.

Um. Century 21 is not the owner. Nor is it a realtor's responsibility to maintain a property.
