How to reset the door lock code on a Ford truck?
I just got a used ford truck and the person who owned it before me lost the card with the code on it. It is the code that is supposed to unlock he door when you enter it in the keypad on the driver side door. If anyone knows how to reset this code it would be of much help.
I've read that the inintial factory code is stamped on the underside of the dash below the steering wheel, but I can't say I've confirmed it. You have to know that to reset the numbers. Or… Contact your local Ford dealer with proof of ownership and they should be able to retrieve the code for you using the VIN number.

When I rent cars (most recently, a Toyota Prius and a Ford Fusion), I'm frustrated because I'll lock the doors, both from the inside and from the key fob, but when I check to make sure that they're locked, they will unlock when I touch the handle. Not sure how that s possible, i followed instructions but it says you need the admin key to deactivate all mykeys. BUT THAT WAS MY ADMIN KEY. needless to say i'm never doing Xanax again.

- How to open a ford focus back door with child lock on and outside handle broken? Hi there i have an ford focus 2008 i have the same problem below. When i bought it the back door opens from inside only. But my friend engage the child lock and i'm not able to open it now. I tried and opened the inner panel but it didn't help. Can i try to remove hinges.
